Wine Cellar/Home Gym Remodel
Going through a remodel when you are living in the house can be an unpleasant experience, but not with KRM. Kevin and his team were professional, timely, and did a wonderful job with our project. Their attention to detail is what sets them apart. The team worked tirelessly to make sure everything was completed to the highest level of standards. Kevin communicated any concerns, timing changes, and budget modifications in a timely manner so there weren't any surprises along the way. We had a project completion party with KRM and were sad to no longer see them on a daily basis...you don't say that about many contractors!

My firm, PATH Architecture, is regarded as one the best design firms in our region. We strive to create timeless, modern work of extremely high quality. Quite frankly, part of our reputation is due the great work that KRM Construction has done on our projects. In the last few years, have had the pleasure of working with KRM on three projects. The first was a highly detailed remodel of an existing basement into a wine cellar and gym. Up until that point we had always had to fight to achieve the level of quality we desired on our residential jobs, especially remodels. In stark contrast to other contractors we have worked with, there was not one single punch list item that needed to be rectified at the completion of the project. KRM had built every detail perfectly. Based on this experience I hired KRM to build my own personal development and residence in Portland. KRM again rose to the occasion to help achieve details and quality that helped the project win not just one, but two Portland AIA Awards in 2009. One of the awards is a craftsmanship award, which reflects particularly on the quality of the work produced by KRM. KRM is our ally and collaborator, helping us to build a reputation that will last well into the future.

Basement Remodel
We had a great experience with KRM construction. The meticulous attention to detail and the ability to research and implement innovative solutions resulted in a wonderful basement remodel.
